Only use car seat accessories that are designed and tested for use with your child restraint. 

Britax tests all of its child seats with accessories that it sells to ensure adequate safety levels.  Thus, Britax does not recommend the use of accessories with its child restraints or booster seats other than those accessories branded as Britax, Safe-n-Sound, Steelcraft or Babylove. 

The Newborn Infant Insert is designed to offer additional comfort and support for your baby. The insert may be used ‘stacked’ on top of the standard insert or on its own in the baby capsule or convertible child restraint.  If maximum support is required, the insert should be stacked. 

For your peace of mind we have tested this insert to ensure your newborn is cocooned in comfort and safety.  This insert is recommended for use in all rear facing baby capsules and convertible child restraints compliant with AS/NZS 1754:2013.  For more information, please contact customer service.
